Request account and data deletion

SLI Business Book is operated by Software Lab India. You can request deletion without installing or signing in to the app.

What happens next

1. Software Lab India verifies control of the registered email and, where necessary, your authority over the affected business. If you cannot access that email, contact the same support address for help.
2. After verification, we complete deletion within 30 days and notify you by email. We will explain any specific records that must be retained and the applicable reason and period.
3. Your sign-in account, sessions and associated personal information are deleted. For businesses you own, associated business profiles, uploaded images, customer/supplier records, invoices, inventory and other business records are included, except for justified retention below.

Shared business records and retention

A staff member's request removes their account and access; it does not authorise deletion of another owner's business. We coordinate shared-business requests with the authorised owner. Records required for tax/accounting law, fraud prevention, security or an active legal dispute may be retained only for the applicable requirement; those records are restricted and are removed or anonymised when that requirement ends. We will identify any such exception when responding to your request.

Before sending

Export records you need and resolve unsynced drafts first. Account deletion is permanent. Files you downloaded, copies you shared with others, device-local offline copies, and records independently retained by another business are outside the server deletion. After confirmation, clear the app/browser's stored data on your devices; do not sync old offline drafts into a replacement account.
